What is Offline Archiving?
Linkable saves a complete snapshot of the webpage (.webarchive) so you can read it later even without an internet connection, ensuring you never lose access to important content.
How does Auto Metadata work?
When you save a link, Linkable automatically fetches the page title, its icon (favicon), and even the main theme color to make your library look organized and beautiful without any manual effort.
Are my links private?
Absolutely. Linkable is built with a privacy-first approach. Your links are stored locally on your device and are never synced to any server. No account or registration is ever required.
Are all features free?
Yes. Clipboard Monitor, Starred Links, Biometric Lock, Library Health, offline archiving, and the rest of Linkable are all included at no cost.
How do I use the Share Extension?
You can save links from Safari, Chrome, or any other app by tapping the Share button and selecting Linkable. It's the fastest way to add content to your library.
Can I search through my links?
Yes. You can use the in-app search for titles, URLs, or tags. Additionally, Linkable integrates with iOS Spotlight, allowing you to find your saved links directly from your home screen.
How does Clipboard Monitor work?
When Linkable detects that you copied a supported link, it can show a banner right away so you can save it without opening the share sheet. If the banner does not appear, open the app once after installation so iOS can register clipboard access.
What are Starred Links for?
Starred Links let you surface your most important references above the rest of the library. Use them for active projects, travel plans, receipts, or any links you need to reach again quickly.
Troubleshooting
Share Extension not appearing
Open any app with a share button, tap Share, scroll to the end of the app list, tap More, and ensure Linkable is enabled.
Biometric Lock isn't asking for FaceID
Make sure you have granted Linkable permission to use FaceID in iOS Settings > Linkable.
Webpage snapshot failed
Ensure you have a stable internet connection while saving. Some websites with heavy scripts might take longer to archive.
Clipboard banner is not appearing
Copy a full URL, then switch back to Linkable. iOS may suppress clipboard prompts until the app has been opened at least once, and Low Power Mode can also delay background checks.
